Bob Troia

Founder and President

Bob is a passionate guy. As founder and president of Affinitive, he is using that passion to help companies democratize their brands. Bob brings more than a decade of experience in marrying technology and marketing to create innovative ways for consumers and brands to share their zeal for each other.

Previously, Bob was co-founder and Director of Technology at Olive, an award-winning strategic branding firm that was ranked among the top 100 U.S. interactive agencies. Bob oversaw all strategic and technology-related activities for clients such as HBO, MTV, Pfizer/Agouron, Crunch Fitness, Comedy Central, SmartMoney, and Bayer.

Prior to Olive, Bob was a senior technologist at ICon CMT (later acquired by Qwest Communications), where he delivered strategy and key technologies to clients such as Bear Stearns, United Airlines, SportsFan Online, and Associated Press.

Before Icon CMT, Bob helped establish Poppe Tyson (now ModemMedia) as one of the top interactive agencies in the world, where he co-developed online strategies and award-winning web-based applications for clients such as IBM, Minolta, Milk P.E.P, Valvoline, Chase, Dean Witter, Nation's Restaurant News, PhRMA, and Toshiba.

Bob sits on several Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) councils and has spoken at a number of conferences, including the inaugural Word of Mouth Marketing Summit. His work has appeared in numerous publications and he has received a number of industry awards, including the One Show Merit award, Infinet's Cool Site of the Year award, and Medical Marketing Association's Gold IN-AWE award.

A graduate of Penn State University, Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering.


Warren Ackerman

Principal, VP of Business Development

Warren brings over 10 years of interactive marketing experience to Affinitive with positions based in New York, San Francisco, Hong Kong and Sydney. His accomplished track record of marketing brands, products and services has been instrumental to Affinitive's development since he joined in 2003. Warren has a deep and instinctive knowledge for delivering innovative and successful projects, qualities much valued by Affinitive's clients.

Previously, Warren managed the online sales channel for Ticketek, the leading supplier of sports and entertainment tickets in Australia. Highlights of this client-side experience include doubling online ticket sales, quadrupling Ticketek's customer database and managing a high profile product launch for the first print-from-home ticket ever in Australia.

In Hong Kong, Warren spent two years working for China.com's online marketing consultancy The Web Connection. He served as a key member of the account services team managing client relationships for Citibank, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and STAR TV.

Warren started his interactive career in San Francisco where he worked at a boutique multimedia consultancy on projects for Apple Computer, Universal Pictures and Rolling Stone magazine.

Warren's globetrotting reflects his passion for travel and adventure having visited over 41 countries spanning 6 continents and counting.

Warren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont.
